Harvest Music Festival – Free Stages Guide

HAPPY HARVEST to one & all! The tents are up in downtown Fredericton and the volunteers are already hard at work preparing for our beloved music festival to come to life over the next week. The streets will be alive with the sights, sounds and energy that make this event stand out on an international level. It really is something special and curated in a way to ensure everyone can enjoy it!

As we head into the week, which will overflow with live music, I wanted to draw attention to the many free shows being offered along side the ticketed ones. Introducing the Uptown At Night Series!

New Uptown at Night Series kicks off this month!

[Fredericton, NB] Music Runs Through It and The Fredericton Inn are thrilled to announce their new partnership in which they will present the Uptown at Night Series in a unique setting with a great listening room ambiance! This live music experience series features local musicians as well as those traveling through the city. 

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with a great community partner to bring another listening room experience to the city.” said Emma Chevarie, founder & CEO of Music Runs Through It. “We are working together to create a destination event that rivals that of any other city.” 

The first show in the Uptown at Night Series features an Albertan songwriter and troubadour Scott Cook with Pamela Mae. In 2022, they are touring the album all over North America, believing more than ever that songs can change your life and your life can change the world. It is fortunate the duo is able to include Fredericton in this tour. They will deliver their insightful stories & songs at the Fredericton Inn on Thursday, September 22, 2022 with the show starting at 7:30PM. Scott has made his living as a troubadour since 2007—touring almost incessantly across Canada, the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere. He averages 150 shows and a dozen summer festivals a year. Scott has released seven albums of plainspoken, keenly observant verse along the way. His latest collection, Tangle of Souls, earned Scott his third Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for English Songwriter of the Year. Its second single “Say Can You See” took top honours for the folk category in both the 2020 UK Songwriting Competition and the 2020 Great American Song Contest.
