New Uptown at Night Series kicks off this month!

[Fredericton, NB] Music Runs Through It and The Fredericton Inn are thrilled to announce their new partnership in which they will present the Uptown at Night Series in a unique setting with a great listening room ambiance! This live music experience series features local musicians as well as those traveling through the city.

The first show in the Uptown at Night Series features an Albertan songwriter and troubadour Scott Cook with Pamela Mae. In 2022, they are touring the album all over North America, believing more than ever that songs can change your life and your life can change the world. It is fortunate the duo is able to include Fredericton in this tour. They will deliver their insightful stories & songs at the Fredericton Inn on Thursday, September 22, 2022 with the show starting at 7:30PM. Scott has made his living as a troubadour since 2007—touring almost incessantly across Canada, the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere. He averages 150 shows and a dozen summer festivals a year. Scott has released seven albums of plainspoken, keenly observant verse along the way. His latest collection, Tangle of Souls, earned Scott his third Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for English Songwriter of the Year. Its second single “Say Can You See” took top honours for the folk category in both the 2020 UK Songwriting Competition and the 2020 Great American Song Contest.
