CBC Festival Forecast – August 18th

Hi! Welcome!
CBC Info AM Summer Edition has included a new segment entitled FESTIVAL FORECAST for the summer! I’m looking forward to sharing info about what is happening around New Brunswick this summer. The segment will air weekly on Tuesdays at 6:15am.
This week’s forecast holds clear skies for good vibes!
This week, New Brunswick goes big on culture and community — Shediac transforms into a medieval kingdom for the Renaissance Faire, Moncton celebrates African, Caribbean, and Latino heritage at the African Festival, Saint John toasts 150 years of its historic City Market, and the whole province will pause to mark a decade since The Tragically Hip’s unforgettable farewell concert. Both Saint John and Fredericton’s are hosting celebrations.
Shediac Renaissance Faire (Aug 22-23)
African Festival Canada (Aug 21-22) Moncton
Saint John City Market 150th (Aug 22)
The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration (Aug 22) Saint John
