Show at 7:00PM.\nPart of FROSTival \nA master of several instruments\, Ray Legere was the winner of the Canadian Open Mandolin championship in 1983 and in 1986\, won the American championship. He has won many awards for his mandolin\, fiddle and acoustic guitar playing\, gaining the masters award level. In 2019\, Ray received the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for High Achievement in the Arts and was inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall Of Fame the same year. Ray was also inducted into the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016. \nAlan Jeffries’ music is the product of many influences but rooted deeply in bluegrass. A powerful singer and musician\, he is well known to music fans as a mainstay in David Myles’ band. Having moved home to New Brunswick late last year\, he has been teaming up as a producer with local artists (Kill Chicago\, The Montgomery Street Band) and\, of course\, performing with Canadian bluegrass music icon Ray Legere.

In their music\, as well as in their busy lives of juggling careers and motherhood\, alongside the creative impulses of being part of a vocal group\, harmony is essential. Together\, Justine Everett\, Juanita Bourque and Sylvia Reentovich hold the focus as they seamlessly weave three part harmonies into every song they sing. From their growing list of originals\, that speak through the lens of life as a woman in today’s world\, to thoughtful cover material plucked from heritage artists who have shaped their sound through the forge of influence\, Les Chanterelles find a way to apply their own style and charm to the music they perform. \nDuring their brief history\, Les Chanterelles have already performed a highly anticipated Harvest Music debut in 2021. Earlier that same year they were also featured on CBC’s East Coast Hour\, during their Story and The Song series\, where they contributed an original composition. In May 2022 they released their debut EP to a positive reception. \nAt the end of the day\, Les Chanterelles goals and ambitions are honestly humble. Sharing the stage\, the chemistry quickly became obvious. Not only were they all a natural fit for one another\, but their combined voices only proved to further amplify their powerful messages. In that instant\, making this a more permanent lineup was the only logical ‘next move’. \nWith The Hello Crows\, the aim is to educate audiences about their beautiful culture\, history and the positive things happening within their communities\, meanwhile honestly sharing the social obstacles in place today. We want to document that\,” explained band leader Josh Bravener. “I mean\, first off\, we’re not even a country band anymore.”\n\nSince forming in 2015\, The Hypochondriacs have released two albums of material ranging from country\, 50s doo-wop\, soul\, Americana\, and alternative music\, and their travels have landed them on festival stages throughout North America\, including SXSW (Austin)\, Breakout West (Calgary)\, and of course appearances at The Harvest Music Festival in their beloved hometown of Fredericton. While both records have been met with critical applause\, live shows are a true thrill ride\, converting many fans.\n\nThe live album is an offering to a fevered fanbase\, waiting patiently for an anticipated third album. Together\, they’re crafting a night of captivating live music\, all in aid of a worthy cause. DESCRIPTION:Troy Cloney is the kind of entertainer you would want to have at a party. His show is upbeat and he covers a lot of ground.\nThroughout the 80’s and 90’s\, Troy was a fixture on the local live scene with groups like The Guise and later on The Relics. Troy also fronted local favourites\, The Hype\, which led to touring throughout Eastern Canada. Troy has shared the stage with Trooper\, 54-40\, Burton Cummings and many more.\nIn 1997 he moved to Brazil and played with various groups and solo for 23 years.\nHe has since returned to his hometown of Fredericton\, and currently plays solo and as a vocalist for Stuck in the Middle.
