DESCRIPTION:St. Patrick’s Day is getting a distinctly Cape Breton soundtrack in 2027\, as legendary Celtic family group The Barra MacNeils bring their celebrated live show to Fredericton for a special performance at The Grand Bella\, the newly renovated event space located on York Street in the former St. Paul’s United Church. The Barras at The Bella promises to be more than just a concert. It will be an evening of music\, celebration and East Coast spirit\, bringing one of Atlantic Canada’s most beloved musical families together with one of Fredericton’s newest and most distinctive event spaces. \nThe venue features both main-floor and balcony seating\, bars on each level and a newly installed\, state-of-the-art sound system — creating an intimate yet impressive setting for live music. “This is a show that works on more than one level\,” said Krista Touesnard of The MRTI Agency\, promoters of the event. “First of all\, The Barra MacNeils on St. Patrick’s Day is pretty special all by itself.
