The Lifers are returning to Fredericton with a new album in hand and the full band at their side!
The Lifers are a sister-fronted six-piece that has been pushing the boundaries of folk music in Canada and around the world for over a decade. Their new album ‘Honesty’ addresses sexual trauma and intergenerational pain through post-folk caresses and indie-rock bangers, inviting us to feel deeper, love gentler, and have fun despite all the shit.
Pallmer is a chamber-pop project born from late night improv sessions during a particularly snowy winter in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Using a cello and viola, the band’s music melds their love of songwriting with their classical training, using loopers and effects to expand the possibilities of their wooden instruments.
