The planning is complete for our next string of shows in the music series at Corked Wine Bar and we think you’ll share in our excitement about this lineup!

Since establishing our partnership in October 2015, we’ve presented 49 incredible shows to the best listening audiences right here in downtown Fredericton. We’ve met many fellow music lovers along the way and are proud of the community that has built up around this series. We look forward to seeing you (and all your friends!) at these upcoming shows.

Mike Biggar (Thursday, March 22) Multi award-winning soulful roots singer-songwriter known for his intense, roiling live performance, signature soaring vocals and warm, disarming on-stage humour.

Evan LeBlanc (Thursday, April 5) Singer/songwriter who spends most of his time playing music in the upbeat Fredericton rock band David in the Dark

Christina Martin (Thursday, May 24)  Multi-award winning singer-songwriter whose style has been described as an effortless union between Americana and Rock. She will be celebrating the release of her latest album “Impossible To Hold”.

The Young Novelists (Thursday, June 7) A Toronto-based band fronted by husband and wife Graydon James and Laura Spink who’ve won numerous awards and continuous praise for their unmatched, effortless harmonies. They will be bringing us songs from their latest release “In City & Country”.

Garrett Mason (Wednesday, July 4 AND Thursday, July 5) Juno award-winning blues guitarist and a true bluesman at heart known as one of Canada’s hottest, funkiest Blues acts.

Pat Maloney (Thursday, July 26) A travelling songwriter from Ontario who sings in a rich baritone, stomping away and whistling like no other. His songs all tell stories – real stories, with real heart and a healthy sense of humour.

Music Runs Through It partnering with York County Cider to bring live music to the northside!

Fredericton, February 28, 2018 – Music Runs Through It has partnered with York County Cider to bring live music to their new taproom stage at Ed’s Garage and Tap Room, located at 38 Main Street. The first show is scheduled for Wednesday, March 14^th featuring singer/songwriter Brent Mason from Saint John.

Emma Chevarie, founder of the Music Runs Through It website and promoter of live music in Fredericton, says she is thrilled to be teaming up with Ed Teale at York County Cider to provide even more opportunity for Frederictonians to experience music in its best form – live! “They’ve set up a great space in their Taproom on Main Street and have gone to the efforts of building a stage which I’m happy to program. I feel the room will provide a unique listening space and can’t wait for the inaugural show next month.” York County Cider hasn’t been open long in their northside location but already it has a real community feeling and people have been enjoying the space. It will be wonderful to give them just another reason to come in to enjoy the Taproom.

Music Runs Through It has been presenting and promoting music on a regular basis at Corked Wine Bar for over 2 years having hosted approximately 40 shows over that time. This southside music series will continue and people should keep an eye out for upcoming shows.

Celebrating their 6^th anniversary in March, Music Runs Through It feels the timing is right to expand its reach across the river to ensure live music can be experienced throughout the city.

Upcoming shows at the York County Cider location will feature local bluesman Keith Hallett on April 5^thand another performance on May 16 is currently being finalized. Tickets available at York County Cider (38 Main St) and Tony’s Music Box (396 Queen St).
