Fredericton Music Festival 2023

The 76th annual Fredericton Music Festival begins Monday, April 17th and continues until Thursday, April 27th.

The festival committee and its large team of volunteers have worked hard to organize this community event. Once again, residents of the capital region will have an opportunity to hear the musical talents from within their own community, with more than 690 solo and group entries and 1186 participants performing in seven venues across the city.

Highly qualified professionals have been selected from Atlantic Canada and beyond to adjudicate the wide variety of classes in choir, band, piano, strings, brass, voice, woodwinds, musical theatre, and for the first time, indigenous music. The festival provides a wonderful experience for all participants from the youngest beginners to the most seasoned senior performers. As in past years, some of these talented musicians may move on to represent the community at the Provincial competition.

Festival programs are available at Tony’s Music Box, and at all venues during festival for $10. Full schedule can be found by clicking here. The cost to attend the festival is $2 (adult) per session and students are free. Festival Passes are $20 and available at all venues during the festival.

The Junior and Senior Awards Concerts will take place at 7:00pm on Tuesday May 9th and Wednesday May 10th in the Tom Morrison Theatre at Fredericton High School. Entry fees are $5 (adult) and free for students and with a festival pass.
