It’s been a rough year (actually few years) and as 2022 draws to an end these musicians want to give back to those in need while providing a good reason for us to gather as a community.
A group of local musicians including members of The Hypochondriacs, Les Chanterelles, The Walking Contradictions, and more are putting in the work to provide an entertaining evening of live music in support of a great cause. The band – Jamie Guitar, Shane Guitar, Steve McKay, Gary Morehouse, Ross Beckett, Juanita Bourque, Sylvia Reentovich, Justine Everett + guests – has been dubbed Steve & the Fredericton Allstars and will be appearing for this ONE NIGHT ONLY! Don’t miss your chance to enjoy this firsthand!
Last year the CBC Information Morning 2021 Feed-a-Family campaign raised enough money to feed 2,281 families! The program aims to support local food banks and give those in need all the happiness of a traditional Christmas dinner. We want to help ensure every family gets to enjoy this special time of the year when what matters most (people!) is put first in our lives and we celebrate that together over a meal.
The organizers are grateful for the community sponsors helping make this a huge success: Insights Atlantic, BringloeFeeney, Charlotte Street Arts Centre, Music Runs Through It, Restorative Health, Outlaw Yoga North, and The Cap.
Join us on Saturday, November 19th at Charlotte Street Arts Centre to enjoy an array of sweet sounds and rocking melodies as we raise funds in support of CBC’s Feed-a-Family campaign. Doors open at 7PM and the show starts at 7:30PM. Cash donations (suggested $10) will be collected at the door.
Don’t forget your dancing shoes!
