Upcoming Holiday Shows as discussed in CBC segment

The stores are now decked out in their holiday best and Christmas trees can be seen in windows all over town. If you are in need of help getting into the spirit or if you simply want to soak in as much holiday spirit as possible – I suggest you get out for the live music experience! 

There is an abundance of great shows lined up over the next month and I had the chance to discuss some of the them with Terry on CBC Information Morning Fredericton.  I wanted to share a link to that conversation and also links to all the shows mentioned so that you can make your plans and pick up our tickets today!

Two of the busiest solo musicians in the country, 2019 East Coast Music Award Winners Dave Gunning & JP Cormier are coming together again this year to bring us a one-of-a-kind show for the holiday season – A Gunning & Cormier Christmas! This singer-songwriter from Newfoundland will be celebrating the season with a mix of standard Christmas songs featuring some more obscure holiday tracks and originals penned by Ian. Seating is limited so reservations are required.

Lisa & John (Tomato Tomato) are coming to do a Christmas season (matinee) show which will feature some songs from their Christmas CD, Pinecones & Cinammon, and other hits. Seating is limited so reservations are required.

Tales of a Charlie Brown Christmas with the Jerry Granelli Trio at The Playhouse on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:30pm

Jerry Granelli, original recording member of the 1965 recording, has gone on to perform the classic and familiar piece of music in sold out shows across Canada, giving grandparents and parents the chance to introduce a new generation to live jazz music. Granelli’s trio will share the stage with the George Street Middle School choir to bring A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack to life. This show promises stories, music, and a wave of Christmas spirit.
