Celebrating 50 Years since Woodstock!

Feels Good presents WOODSTOCK 50 TRIBUTE SHOW!
Fredericton Musicians “Band” Together Once Again In Historical Tribute

Doors: 6:30 pm / Show: 7:30 pm
Fredericton Boyce Farmer’s Market

Kicking off at the Boyce Farmers Market and ending at the Capital Complex, Woodstock 50 will be a celebration of both the iconic 1969 festival and the incredible local talent Fredericton has to offer.

Featuring members of The Hypochondriacs, Olympic Symphonium, Tortoise The Hare & The Millionaire, Sugar Bomb, The Downtown Blues Band and many more! The Woodstock 50 performances will pay tribute to the incredible artists that performed at the original Woodstock, one of the most important music events in history!

Tributes will include: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Santana, The Band, The Who, CCR, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, and many more to be announced.

Paul McAllister, Executive Director of Feels Good, shares his excitement about Woodstock 50:  “Anniversary celebration shows are always pure magic. Seeing the local music community come together, collaborate and shine? It always gets the happy tears flowing, and not just from me!”

Local musician & Woodstock 50 performer Sean Hutchins is equally enthusiastic: “This group of musicians first came together in 2016 to pay tribute to the 40th anniversary of The Band’s ‘The Last Waltz’. We had so much fun, we knew we had to do something again. We’ve been talking about doing a Woodstock show for 3 years, so we’re thrilled to finally get our chance – and the 50th Anniversary is the perfect time!”

He continues: “So many great acts played the original Woodstock; many of them delivered career defining performances. We plan to bring some of that same magic..”

This is an event NOT to be missed! Like Sean mentioned, we are still all talking about the magic we witnessed at The Last Waltz show three years ago and I’ve no doubt this will be the same. Get your tickets HERE
