Lutes playing in Fredericton this Thursday!
The music continues to run through Corked Wine Bar this week as we welcome Jared Lutes on Thursday, April 14th. Show starts at 8PM. Tickets still available at Tony’s Music Box and Corked Wine Bar.
Jared, a 15-year veteran of both stage & studio, is a singer-songwriter from Moncton, NB. In his 1st solo Fredericton appearance, you can expect to hear this Americana/Roots/Folk artist deliver his songs with a timeless quality set to his warm acoustic sounds. He has seen much success with his music both in the form of awards and seeing his songs used in TV and film as listed below.
- “I Am Overcome” will be used as the opening Main Title music for the new American film “Life at These Speeds”, to be released this summer
- “This Kind of Love” won New Brunswick’s 2016 Silver Wave Film award for video of the year
- 2015 Indie International Songwriting Competition Award – 1st Place in Country/Americana
- Winner of ‘2015 Solo Record of the Year‘ at the MusicNB Awards
- “Wherever You May Go” won at the International Songwriting Competition 2014 and also featured on an episode of the hit TV series ‘Reign‘
As host of Jared & The Storytellers for RogersTV, he features some of the best of our regional talent with a light-hearted approach and a focus on songs and the stories behind them.
When he isn’t focused on music he can be found bribing his 6-year old son to play Pokemon. 🙂
